WELCOME!
Thank you for receiving this newsletter and being apart of my support team. I thank God for each of you and for your partnership in the gospel. Your prayers, encouragement, and support have meant more than I can express—and they continue to make a real impact. These will be quarterly updates, with the possibility of sending more frequent updates as the Lord continues to move in this season.
I’m grateful and excited to be stepping into this new role as Director of Spiritual Formation at Fordham Community Church. This role is an opportunity for us to more intentionally build a culture of discipleship in our growing church—seeing people not only come to faith, but grow into mature followers of Christ who live on mission here in the Bronx. We desire to equip the saints to make disciples, raise up leaders, and send them out as future church planters and missionaries to every place where Christ is not worshiped—every corner of the Bronx, all the boroughs of New York City, and to the ends of the earth.
I wanted to give you a snapshot of what God is doing as I continue to raise support for this new role as Director of Spiritual Formation at Fordham Community Church
A Season of Growth
This has been an incredibly encouraging season of growth for our church! Since Easter, we have regularly exceeded our seating capacity in our English service, with people having to resort to standing or sitting on the ground.
This growth presents a meaningful opportunity to further the reach of the Gospel in the Bronx, while also revealing a pressing need for more laborers to make disciples. Our desire is not simply to grow numerically, but to see people grow into the image of Christ (Romans 8:29). To see people go from attendance to discipleship. We are praying for more laborers for the harvest, and that the Lord would raise them up from among us at FCC.
Men’s Ministry Focus

Men’s Retreat 2025
My primary focus in this season will be investing more in the intentional discpleship of our men here at FCC.
The goal is to see our men strengthened in their faith, so that as they grow, the whole church is then strengthened. The greater fruit of this will be that, as the men grow in Christian maturity, we can more clearly identify future elders, deacons, and, Lord willing, church planters and missionaries to be raised up from within FCC.
I'm aiming to kick that process off by launch a men’s discipleship initiative during the summer months. Forming small discipleship groups, where myself, and a few of our more seasoned saints are intentionally investing in younger brothers in the faith—walking with them in God’s Word and in everyday life.
“What you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.”
— 2 Timothy 2:2
Teaching Opportunities
I’ve been especially grateful for opportunities to teach and invest in our church through God’s Word. On Sunday morning, February 15, I had the opportunity to preach from Romans 12:9–21, calling our church to live lives marked by genuine love and gospel-shaped community.
In addition I have also had the opportunity to regularly teach our two key discpleship initiatives, Growing Deep Discipleship, and Timothy & Priscilla Lab (Outlined Below). Together, these initiatives are helping our church grow in knowledge and spiritual maturity, and equipping the saints of FCC to take meaningful steps toward becoming better disciple-makers.
01 Growing Deep Discipleship
Focused on grounding our church in the foundational doctrines of the Christian faith and the necessity of the spiritual disciplines (prayer, fasting, reading God’s Word, etc.).
02 Timothy & Priscilla Lab
Designed to help raise up disciple-makers and future leaders within our church. The foundation for a future pastoral training program
Support Update
32%
$3,060 / $9,500 monthly
$36,727 raised toward a $114,000 annual goal.
By God’s grace, I’m currently at 32% of my support goal.
I’m deeply grateful for those of you who have already partnered with me financially—your generosity is a beautiful expression of the sacrificial love of Christ, and it’s making this ministry possible.
There’s still a meaningful gap to close, and I’m excited to see how God will provide through His people in this next season.
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.”
— Philippians 4:19–20

Pray For Us
01
Pray for continued growth—not just numerically, but spiritually. That we would see fruit from our discipleship initiatives, and raise up mature disciples and leaders in this season.
02
Pray for wisdom and provision as we seek a larger space to gather, trusting God to provide for our growing church.
03
Pray that I would be able to raise the remaining support needed to reach—and even exceed—this goal soon! Much of my time currently is spent raising support, and I would love to be able to spend most of this year with all of my time dedicated to discipleship initiatives.
THANK YOU!
Thank you again for your partnership in the gospel. I don’t take it lightly, and I’m grateful to be laboring together with you in what God is doing in the Bronx.
Keep an eye out for a new Webpage and Vision Video coming soon!
Grace & Peace,
Tony Ramirez
